SANTIAGO BRUNI
My name is Santiago Bruni, and I’m an Art Director and poster illustrator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I studied Advertising at Miami Ad School, where I was nominated for awards like D&AD New Blood and won the Top Dogs Awards. I’ve worked with brands like MUBI, Fernet 1882, AMC, Netflix, and E!, and I’m currently an artist at Hero Complex Gallery. As a huge pop culture fan, I bring passion and storytelling into every project I create.
Adidas and Run DMC.
The first collaboration between a sports brand and a music band that broke with tradition back in 1986. As the last assignment for college,
I had to think of a product that would go with a montage and also do its graphic campaign, and I chose Adidas. After seeing the documentary The 80's: Top 10 on Disney Plus, it seemed like a good idea that fit the task.
Despite the fact that Adidas keeps the Superstars for sale, from time to time the Run DMC version is relaunched, and this campaign was designed for that occasion.
